General Counsel, Spotify USA Inc. 

Horacio Gutierrez joined Spotify in 2016 after 17 years at Microsoft. He was based in Paris for part of his time at Microsoft, and speaks fluent French, Spanish, and Portuguese. Horacio grew up in Venezuela, and was inspired to be an attorney by his father, who worked as both a lawyer and a judge. 

In 2015, Spotify created a hackathon with 50/50 gender representation (a very rare event in the tech industry). Spotify is also committed to pay equity for women, and offers six months of paid parental leave to all employees.
