Senior Vice President and General Counsel, The Coca-Cola Company

 

Bernhard Goepelt has been involved in Coke’s legal departments in Germany, Thailand, and Japan. He finally settled in the United States in 2010, and took up his current position in 2011. The Coca-Cola Company has won numerous awards for its diversity efforts, including eight perfect scores on the Human Rights Commission’s Corporate Equality Index. Their programs include employee resource networks, supplier diversity programs, and an extensive diversity education program that includes training, a speaker series, and a diversity library. Coke also recently donated $1.4 million to start the Diversity Leadership Academy of Atlanta. The company was also an LCLD Most Active Member Corporation in 2014 and 2015.
